The calorimetry is used to study the properties of Portland cement with Calcium aluminate cement pastes with various quantities of different type of solvent              (methylic alcohols and toluene) whit emulsion agent. In addition to the well-known acceleration of hydration of mixed cements and ‘‘retardation’’ of hydration of organic solvent, are observed to have a significant effect on the setting time of the morphology of hydration products, as has been observed by others previously using electron microscopy. Thus are evidenced the complexity of the heat of cement hydration influence on the properties of conditioning solvent waste are discussed.
