The objective of the works presented in this article was obtaining and characterization of cermets ceramic materials, useful like anodes in to a solid electrolyte fuel-cell with medium temperature (650-850oC).
Using classical preparation methods of ceramic technologies, were synthesize two composite ceramic materials in Ni-YSZ and NiO-GDC systems. Physical and structural characterizations have been performed at ceramic materials both in the form of powder and in the form of sintered samples.
Ceramic structures were obtained, with high porosities (35…36 % for Ni-YSZ and 26…27 % for NiO-GDC), where is observe well shaped cubic crystallites of YSZ and NiO for the Ni-YSZ and respectively of (Ce0,7Gd0,3)O1,85 for NiO-GDC. The value of electrical conductivity of s = 25 S/cm, measured at 800 0C on the Ni-YSZ sample are suitable to use this material like anodes for solid electrolyte fuel-cells.
