The aim of the paper is to examine the effect of increasing proportions of both ESP dust and limestone filler up to 5 % (maximum limit indicated by reference) on the characteristics of low heat cement CEM II/A–S 32.5N–LH. The obtained results show differences in chemical characteristics. The physical characteristics showed an increase of the initial setting time up to 30 minutes. In the case of the mechanical properties, the ESP dust addition led to increases of the 2-day and 28-day compressive strength up to 37 % and about 7 %, respectively.
