The paper presents the results regarding the grindability of granulated blastfurnace slag interground with surface active additives belonging to the ethanolamines. The influence of the surfactants on the grindability of the slag was studied considering the usage of surfactants on slag grinding process. As reference, slag without any intergrinding additive was considered. The dosage of the aminoalcohols (as monoethanolamine, diethanolamine, and triethanolamine) had the following values: 0.01%, 0.03%, and 0.05% of the weight of the ground slag to grind. The slag was ground up to a fineness expressed as Blaine specific surface area of 4500 cm2/g.
