The use of industrial wastes, as a topic of high interest for a sustainable development, is still up-to-date and offers an alternative of secondary raw materials by exploitation of the potential use. The high content of green chromium oxide of the electro settling waste is the basic criterion for the use as secondary raw material and glass substitution coloring agent, respectively. Colored glass samples with various amounts of waste varying form 0.7 to 2.5% were considered for the experimental study.

The preliminary characterization on the environmental properties of the waste incorporated colored glass was carried out by determining the maximum leaching available fraction (MAF).
